The official launch of RAS Global took place on January 22, 2024, at the Sheraton Addis Hotel. Established by dedicated Ethiopians, RAS Global is a humanitarian organization with a strong commitment to alleviating the suffering and fostering hope for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Ethiopia. The launch event was a significant occasion, dedicated to commemorating the establishment of the organization with the aim to introduce RAS Global, its mission, and vision, while also extending invitations to influential individuals, urging them to become partners, donors, and advocates of the organization's noble goals.

We are dedicated to empowering the underprivileged to uncover their talents, realize their dreams, and cultivate culturally vibrant, independent communities that embrace diversity and encourage critical thinking. Committed to holistic well-being, our investment spans spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional health, with the aim of effecting lasting positive change.
Our mission involves delivering life-saving essentials like nutritious food and medicine while championing long-term development. We contribute to human development by constructing schools, health facilities, water wells, and shelters, thereby aiding in the reconstruction of conflict-damaged infrastructure. Furthermore, we tackle poverty through initiatives such as Income Generating Activities (IGAs), Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) programs, and partnerships in microfinance. Our comprehensive approach also extends to bridging divisions, fostering peace, reconciliation, and holistic community development.
The launch event was marked by dynamic and interactive speeches, presentations, and visuals. W/o Hanna Arayaselassie, Co founder at RAS Global and the Investment commissioner, made a welcoming and opening speech. Followed by Ambassador Misganu Arega, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, served as the guest of honor, delivering a passionate keynote speech emphasizing the collective responsibility to support and aid those in our community by leveraging our resources, knowledge, and funds as Ethiopians.
Konjit B. Eshetu, Founder and CEO of RAS Global, delivered a compelling speech and presentation on the organization's origins and future trajectory. Featuring dynamic testimonials, video presentations, and a visionary Boarding School design for IDP communities presented by Ben Kassahun, the event showcased scalable initiatives across the country, designed to bring about sustainable change and long-term improvements in the lives of IDPs. The presentation encapsulated the vision, mission, and strategy of RAS Global, followed by a call to action from David Beasley, former executive director of WFP and Girum Tariku, Board chair at RAS Global, encouraging attendees to actively participate in supporting the organization's vision.
The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries, business leaders, and church representatives who resonate with our vision and have been inspired by the motivation and objectives of our company.
RAS Global is fully prepared to undertake the crucial work of reaching vulnerable and IDP communities in Ethiopia.
